The “Summer at Lake Balaton” International Folk Dance and Music Festival welcomes ensembles from around the world to the picturesque town of Balatonföldvár, located on the sun-soaked southern shore of the legendary Lake Balaton. With its elegant villas, well-kept parks, long waterfront promenade, and one of the lake’s most beautiful marinas, Balatonföldvár offers an ideal combination of cultural atmosphere and holiday relaxation. Participants will perform on scenic open-air stages near the lake, enjoy the region’s natural beauty, and discover the vibrant summer life of Balatonföldvár, Balatonlelle, Balatonboglár, and nearby resort towns. Join us for unforgettable days filled with music, dance, sunshine, and international friendship!
Participants
- Folklore ensembles, orchestras, majorette groups, choirs, modern dance teams, and music bands.
- Choirs must be able to perform on open-air stages.
- No age limits and no limit on group size.
- Limited festival capacity – early registration is recommended.
